Hi folks.
I'll be making a trip to visit Dad in Lake Worth and expect to get at least
one or two 1/2 day dive trips in while down there. (At the least, might do
Splashdown on Sat. 3/18 or Sun 3/19.) Anybody got any suggestions or who
(whom?) I can meet up with?
I've met a few of you in the past (Bullshark and Mike Gray) but that was 2
or 3 years ago but haven't done Boynton since.
Also, if anyone's got a recommendation of a good outfit for the Spiegel
Grove, that would be helpful. I'm leaning toward Silent World Scuba-Do or
Quiescence.
Thanks. (And hope to see you soon.)
- David (a.k.a. "DavidInNH").

We dive with Silent World.
Ric, the owner, has posted here in the past.
I myself have always been extremely satisfied with their service, and
they've always bent over backwards to accommodate us.

It won't be me. I'll be in Key west on the 18th which, by the way, is my
birthday.

Several of us like Silent World. They're friends. Quiesence has always
been top rated.
If you decide on Silent World, feel free to tell them that I recommended
them.

Hope you have a happy one. Have a drink for me. (You DO drink down there,
right?)

Normally, I'm a social drinker, although a somewhat accomplished one. That
weekend, I'll be very social. Key West puts on a charity Bar Stroll once a
year. It's held on the Saturday closest to St. Patrick's Day. Having been
born the day after St. Patrick's Day, it's always close to my birthday and
sometimes, like this year, on my birthday. For $20, you get a card with the
name of 10 to a dozen bars on it. Each BAR gives you a free beer and a few
add a shot, Jello shot or similar. The last time the event fell on my
birthday, my goal was to get a free drink for every one to which I was
entitled. I exceeded by goal by a considerable margin.
I'll try to be more temperate this time, but not my much.

I would recommend anyone but Silent World. Have you thought of a trip to
the PNW?

Thanks for the non-recommendation, especially with all the information
you've provided to back it up.
> Have you thought of a trip to the PNW?
For diving, no.

Ignore him, Dave.
He's just a cowardly anonymous internet polecat.
