My wife have been to Kona many times, this is the first with kids in
tow, a 28 month and 4 month old. We have always stayed at the Kona
Tiki, but this year waited too long and they are full.

Can anyonre recommend a place to stay that is kid friendly that is in
the $100-125 range ?

Any can anyone recommend a place that has drop in day care we can drop
our 28 month old off for a few hours where she can have fun and we wont
have to worry about her, so I can try and get some diving in.

I know I can do a search on the web, and I have but I am looking for
rceommendations from personal expereinces, last tiem we went o Kauai
and picked a hotel that looked great on their website, it was not a
pleasent experience.

Thanks !

Can't help you with a place to stay.  I used to stay at a condo complex just
south of Kailua run by Marc Resorts.  Last time I was there, though, it was
a complete disaster.  I wound up writing several angry letters.  Apparently
I wasn't the only one because, looking at the Marc Resort webpage, I see
they no longer manage the property.

There is a drop-in daycare facility in Kailua.
(http://www.kidsplayhawaii.com/)  If you want to use them you will need to
get in touch with them right away.  Coming from out of state, you will need
to jump through all sorts of hoops in order for your children to be able to
stay at the facility.  Hawaii has some very strange health laws.  It might
be easier to just get a nanny through the concierge.
