Hello all-

I changed jobs and lost my free hosting, so the trimix site was down
for quite a while. Thanks to Dave Swift's swift kicks in the behind and
Dave Widen's providing the server, the Trimix site is back up and
running and located at the same place:

http://www.cisatlantic.com

As always I appreciate information, data, URL's and so on which relate
to the black art of diving with helium.

This is not a commercial site so I won't entertain links for this or
that diveshop, stupid web rings or this or that bullshit stroke
equipment. Yes, I am a firm believer in Doing It Right, so damn me all
to hell.

This is a powerful page for trimix information. It's been around so
long that if you put trimix in google it's the first page to come up.
So lets use it to promote helium diving.

I do like dive history, I am working with Christian Gerzner to get the
really cool Dive Cards section back up. I will also be on the prowl for
new information on trimix diving.

I also like to publish horror stories about strokes doing it wrong and
doing themselves in and perhaps even taking a few other hapless strokes
with them. This is a very closed community and I appreciate the fact
that the only way the family can get the insurance money is to have a
"heart attack", but sooner or later the real story gets out by
anonymous sources and I will be happy to publish these stories so we
can have a resource for "lessons learned."

For you new divers I hope to resurrect some of the "strokes vs. DIR"
wars which took place in the late '90-'00, I have an entire email
archive of some of the best and funniest posts you've ever seen on the
"stuperwings vs. the long hose" battle. Oh, those days were fun with
George Irvine leading the charge against the "pizza stained t-shirts"
and pissing off pretty much everybody on Planet Earth who have even
remotely considered stepping off a dive boat.

I am still retired from the sport, I decided to quit when I realized
after having an epiphany that yes, even I can die doing tech diving.
And this was not a good thing when you have 2 wonderful young boys and
a lovely wife to support. I hope to return one day and really look
forward to teaching my boys to Do It Right.

So have fun, and enjoy the site.

Best Regards-

Thanks for the site! It was one of the first that I went to for
information on trimix.
As for those days of the dir vs strokes, it was fun. Heated at times,
but fun.

I understand the adds, etc, by why webrings?  I've found them to be a
good way to build up traffic to my sites.

Great page either way...

 Great to hear from you!

 The cite is a godsend.

 Diving again yet?
