Diving in Croatia?

I and my partner are planning a trip sometime in July August. We intend
to dive in:-
1/ Dugi Otok: Mezanj Island
2/ Kornati Islands: Rasip

I'd be interested to hear of other peoples experiences?

In july & august _lots_ of tourists are in croatia on the beach and on the
dive bases.
Try to go in mai, juni (cold) or september, october (warm).
For the cornates, you have your best base-camp on the island of 'murter'.
The habitants of murter are the owners of the cornates.

All of the islands are lime-stone, there are many walls and caves.
Have a good lamp with you!

Thanks for the info.

We are also intending a sailing trip up the coast for seven days, as
well as visiting my partners family in Koprivnica. The 3day diving
portion will only be small part of this trip, unfortunately.

about diving, or just life in general?

About the diving, my partner is originally from Koprivnica so I have my
own interpreter.

Island of Vis is a protected marine park for scuba diving, and one of best
dive location in Croatia, here You can find archaeological cities from
roman and greek age, wrecks reefs and famoust Blue grotto dives.. more info
