Good day all;

I am coming to Victoria next week and would like to find a buddy to go
with maybe out at the Ogden breakwater.  I'm certified but a novice so
looking for someone in the same league.

Please email me if you would like to join me for a dive off the
breakwater or maybe you can recommend a better place?

Wait, wait, wait.

You want to dive with another novice because you're a novice?

Don't you see anything wrong with that idea?

Of course what he means is...He is looking for some one with experience in
the area who is willing to move at a novice pace......

He'll have to pack a lot of good cofee.

And then serve it.

If he is going to do that, Ogden Point is probably the place to go.  If
they stick to the end near shore its about as sheltered as a dive site
can be, without being in a pool.  I did my first dive outside of courses
there with no problem.  It's actually a great site for all divers - nice
safe stuff near shore for newbies.  Deep water, some current, and
incredible amounts of life for those willing to carry their gear to the
end...

That said, the SCUBA shop on the breakwater offerers (offered?) guided
dives.  Might be a good idea for the first trip out.
