computer display protection?

Hello, all,

The stick-on flexible plastic that protects my dive computer display
has become pretty scratched.  It's an older Dacor model and neither the
LDSs nor Dacor has any replacements.  Someone at the local
hiking/climbing outfitter suggested those protectors that are made for
PDA displays and such, but they cost $15 a pkg. with no promise of
water...proofness (?).  Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks,

Maggie

I've had one on my "EON" for a year or better, over 150 dives.

Look at the items from Trident dive (tridentdive.com) as I think they
sell exactly what you are describing. I just ordered 2 about a week ago.
