Hi,

I plan on spending a few days on the Red Sea in Egypt in mid-March
doing some diving. I know nothing about the region other than the fact
that it's a premier dive spot. Where are the best places for diving? I
will probably have three nights there. Thanks for any information!

Hi there,

Start by visiting Wannadive.net ! There are a lot of dive sites
explained there. http://www.wannadive.net/spot/Africa/Egypt/

If you only stay 3 days, you will probably go to Hurghada (The most
crowed place, and definitly not the best of the Red Sea). Try to dive N
(El Gouna) or S (Safaga).

Best regards,

Chris

My wife and I dived with Sunshine Divers out of Hurgahda on a 3 day
liveaboard. Terry is an American and her husband owns the shop. We were the
only ones on the boat except for 6 staff. It couldn't have been more
personal. Food was outstanding in spite of the room being a little "cheesy"
and smelly (gasoline). We wound up sleeping up on the top deck.
There were great dives and we even a swam with the dolphins one day. The
price was great!
It will be  trip to remember.
Have fun,
Mark
