Hi all. I find myself headed to Kauai, Hawaii, in March for work. I'm
planning to extend into a vacation and while there I'd like to take the
PADI Advanced Open Water class and the Rescue Diver class (assuming I
can do both in one week or so that I can extend my trip by). Can
anyone recommend a good place to do these classes and get some good
diving in on Kauai?
Thanks!

I just finished a week of diving Kauai. I used Bubbles Below and my trip
report has already been posted.
The next time I head out there, I've already decided to try Fathoms Five.
The "Kauai Revealed" guidebook gives them great recommendations. While I
really enjoyed the diving with Bubble Below when Linda, the owner, led the
dives, the rest of our experience with them was just mediocre. Not only
does Fathom Five leave from a harbor closer (to Poipu) than that of Bubbles,
but they also apparently offer the sort of classes that may interest you.

I second FF, very good outfit, request George Thompson aka Nemo to
teach the course and you wont be disappointed. Best regards
Anyone know anything about SeaSport divers on Kauai (in Poipu, I
believe)? Someone I know said they had a good experience with them -
looking for more feedback.
Thanks!
