By all means....you should most certainly get two. You should get one
proof and one uncirculated. However, instead affixing them to the
strap, you should Aquaseal both to clear glass portion directly in front
of each eye. That way, when other divers see you underwater, they will
see the glimmering coins instead of your eyes.
You will be the talk of the quarry.

Your idea is brilliant - not brilliant uncirculated like the Marine Corps
dollar - just brilliant. However, I'm not the type of guy looking for, or
even comfortable with, the type of recognition you indicate. For that
reason I'm not going to use your idea. The proof Marine Corps dollar would
have suited the purpose just as well as the brilliant uncirculated Marine
Corps dollar. Maybe one brasher than I could review your thoughts and
implement the suggestion.
Oh, maybe you are way ahead of me. Have you glued your Marine Corps dollars
to the lens of your mask? I'll bet yes. That's why you know about the
recognition. Super! Excellent idea from an excellent mind. Does the 90%
silver content of the new coin appear to be environmentally friendly like I
predicted? Has it reduced the amount of weight you carry? Are you better
balanced with the weight distributed to each side of your face? You going
to be at the quarry so I can get a look? If this was only a picture
forum...
The Marine Corps dollars proved by one rec.scuban to be the divers
salvation. Keep up the good work. Buy all the Marine Corps dollars you can
afford. (You can pay for them with regular dollars or with credit card.)
