I just received my C Card from PADI and I'm ready to explore some new
sites.  I'm looking for novice stuff.  My cert dives were at Lake
Denton, but that is a two hour drive.  Anyone know a place closer?

Thanks!

Not much in the way of shore diving around here, at least in salt
water. Can't speak to fresh water. Scalloping north of here in season,
but thats snorkeling. Venice south of here for sharks teeth, but it's
generally dirty and it's only 10 or 15 feet deep. Our best diving is
farther out in the gulf.

Head east for fresh water dives, Wilton, Ocala, or north to Ginnie Springs
