Has anyone ever used a wheeled scuba boot like this on?

they might work if you are short enough

Now, putting them on doubles could be interesting if you don't have them
perfectly aligned -- you might just end up going in circles... <grin>

My steel-120s had a similar type of boot on them originally... Each had a
single wheel that was about as wide as the diameter of the tank, but looked
to be of a smaller diameter than the one in the previous link... Being a
smaller diameter, it might not have rolled that well, but I never tried it,
I just removed the boots as soon as the tanks arrived... Hell, having to
carry your own tanks helps prevent taking a DCS hit anyway... If you've just
hiked a mile through the Florida forest carrying a hundred pounds of gear to
get to a spring head, do you really want to do that again just to get
another dive in for the day? <grin>  Yeah Lee, I know that you knew the
shortcut there, but us sailors didn't...

A few problems I see...

First: The lady in the picture looks to be about 5'6" tall and she is
probably near the limit for comfortable maneuvering.
Second: I have serious doubts about the ability to move and durability of
the wheel mechanism when used on sand.
Third: If you just drag your tanks behind you, how are the buff guys you see
in all the scuba ads supposed to help you carry your tanks (not really a
problem for me)?
