Gluing gloves directly to drysuit??

Hi folks,

I have very thin wrists, and seem to channel water through my wrist
seals to the point that it is a problem. I have used smaller, snugger
latex seals, and still have problems.

Rather than deal with the 'locking ring' glove systems, I was thinking
about just gluing either gloves or mitts right to the suit. The suit is
an older vulcanised rubber Viking suit and is fast approaching the end
of it's life. Perhaps one or two more seasons. So if I mess up, I haven't
lost much.

Would you leave the wrist seals in place so that in the event of a torn
glove the suit wouldn't flood?

Is there a glue that you would use 'available locally' like Lowes or
Home Depot? I do have Aquaseal here at home.

I have access to .020" thick, and .030" thick butyl gloves. What about
using them? We use them in the chroming room and they are very durable,
use the same pair every day for months.

Thanks.

I have the locking ring system on my suit and love it. Havent had a wet hand
since going that route.
