Any news on Drews Dam Divers in Vegas?  I used to dive with them a few
years ago and heard Drew may have sold his lake operation to a local
shop who ran it into the ground?  (Actually, I heard they drove his
BOAT into the ground?)  I was thinking of diving the river below the
Hoover Dam on my way to Philly this summer...any news would be
appreciated. (Kevin, you out there?)  --Army George

Oh, the charter schedule at damdivers.com states:

"News Flash!  I have started a new job and am taking a hiatus from the
dive charter business.  When I start up again, I will make the posting
on this page.  Until then, we are not operating any charters on the
Colorado River.  I can not refer you to anyone, since we were the only
company offering this type of excitement/advance dive.  Thanks for
your interests, it's appreciated.  - Drew"

My understanding is that they closed the business post-9/11 because new
secuirity measures on the river, which is just south of Hoover Dam, made it
impossible for them to continue to operate.
