Scuba Forum / General / May 2005HELP! Any ideas how to make fins fit snugger?
I bought snorkel fins online (full foot fins by Dacor). I am a women's 9. I bought size 7-9 which I figured had to fit me... lo and behold they are a bit big... they don't fall off of me, but there is some room.... any ideas of what I can do to make them fit me snugger? Can I put something by the toe to fill up space? Or around my ankle? Or any ideas for aqua/water socks? Any ideas would be helpful! I know this because I have to unlace my shoes more than usual to put them back on. Perhaps you could try flying before you snorkel. > When I fly, my feet swell. They should not be tight. You can try wearing an old pair of sweatsocks, or the soft booties available online or in dive shops. m If they are a loose fit then you need to take the PADI loose foot and fin certification course.
