Hello All,

I'm in the Patchogue area and looking for anyone interested in starting an
informal dive group. Lets say 3 or 4 of us to do some semi-regular diving,
maybe 2 or 3 trips a month. There are many local spots as well as the
Connecticut and Jersey shores. Dutch springs would also be a possibility.

Any one interested?

John

Hi John, I live not too far from you, in North Babylon. My diving here
is all wreck diving. There is a group of us that charter the Sea Hunter
III out of Freeport every Sunday from June to September. We do all the
"popular" wrecks off shore. Nothing inshore. All 2 tank dives. Wrecks
include the San Diego (oh how I hate that wreck. After 60 or so times
being on it), the Oregon (love this one), Stolt, G&D, Yankee, Kenosha,
Linda, etc.. We also do deeper dives like the Texas Tower, Coimbra and
Doria.
You are more than welcome to join us any Sunday. The boat is a CG
certified for 70+ people. 60' custom built ocean going dive boat (the
fastest when we are in a hurry) with 10 bunks, 2 microwaves, 2 heads
OUTSIDE, tables and seats inside cabin. It's spartan in features (no
leather couches here), but we have a great time diving and bbq'ing
during SI and ride back home. And yes, "adult" beverages are allowed,
but only AFTER you have finished all your diving.

You can email me at arpierreATgmailDOTcom if you want to communicate
further.

Hi Anthony-or do I now need to refer to you as Dive Master Anthony? How are
you?

Hey John... I see you lurk in these waters. But you can refer to me any
way you want.
Be seeing you this dive season! Can't wait. I heard Sal is going to be
putting the boat in the water mid May. Might try and make a dive or 2.
