I am in the process of planning a 2 week field based class to Costa
Rica for my college students.  One of the things I am interested in
would be a comparative dives assignment -  looking at plants and
animals on the carribean as compared to the pacific side.

Anybody here done any diving down there?  any ideas or sugestions -
best locations - dive providers etc?

I can not say much about the Atlantic side but on the Pacific sie there
are several dive operations out of Playa del Coca. There is not alot
plant/coral on the Pacific that we saw but lots of critters. I would
not reccomend using Rich Coast Divers - though their on water operation
was good, the on land part was not acceptable. Try some some of the
other operations.
