I am wondering if anyone has taken either courses? Besides the
instructor and pricing, what made you choose one versus the other?
Anyone looked over the materials for either? I am looking for general
impressions since we will be interviewing potential instructors from
both orgs.

Comments on the PADI - Tech Rec or GUE courses or not warranted because
neither meet our needs.

Thanks,

Allen

What criteria have you decided on?

It really is all about the instructor.

Does the instructor dive at or above the level he or she is teaching on
a regular basis?

Do they dive in the environment you plan on diving in?

Do they have a solid understanding of current deco theory?

How are the in water skills?

Which is more important to the instructor your money or teaching you the
skills you need to do the dives.

And the course material.

Oh, wait, they want a card, not knowledge.

Never mind. Carry on.
