I'm taking my advanced but don't know which program would be better PADI or
SSI. Does anyone have any experiences they could share?

Go neither route... Darwin is the best agency... The rest of them are
wimps...

They're all the same, penny for pound.

It's the quality of the instructor that matters, and it's hard for
the uninitiated to know between good and bad.

 Where do you live?

Assuming there are no noticeable differences in the instructors in your
area, take your advanced course from the agency you did not take your basic
from.

Get some experience with both agencies and, in the future, you'll be better
able to chose for yourself.

BTW, don't forget NAUI.
