Went to Aruba last week and dove the Antilla, here are some pics if anyone wants to see them. Using the flash in a point and shoot camera will cause a lot of backscatter. I have been messing around with your images, they can be improved quite a bit with Photoshop. The reason I am so interested is because I have a new camera and strobe, as yet not tested in actual sea conditions, I am trying to learn as much as I can from others before the trip. Email me offline if you would like to correspond. Rudy Benner 55 days until Coco View I was using the flash and now realize that I should have turned it off on the far away shots. My camera is a canon A70 in the canon housing. I did some shots on auto and some shots on the P setting using the cloudy setting. The annoying thing was the shutter lag, I could not figure out how to turn off the redeye flash. All of the pictures except the close-ups had that blue color so I touched them up using Paintshop Pro's automatic color balance and adjusted the contrast on some of them. When I have some more time I'll post the originals so you can see the difference. I am also going to post some pictures I took on the Pedernales dive I did a few days later. I tried to adjust my technique a little based on what I saw from the first dive. I don't know what camera Max was using but I can probably find out, I have his email. Paintshop Pro is good, in general I would say that Adobe Photoshop is better. More offline.
