Hey folks:

I'm going to be in the WPB/Boynton area and then down to the Keys from Feb
28th to March 5th and have a couple of questions:

My wife is doing the Dolphin Swim in Marathon on the morning of 3/1 and I'm
thinking of getting in a dive that afternoon. I've heard there are some
decent shore dives in the area so I might do that alone. (She doesn't dive
and a boat trip that day wouldn't fit the schedule.) Anybody have any
recommendations about sites right there and/or dive shops to rent from?
(I'll just need tank(s) and possibly weights.)

Also, since I'll be in Lake Worth on Monday 2/28 and again on Friday 3/4, I
might hook up with Capt. Lynn if she's going out. Anybody know whether she's
making trips during the week this time of year?

There's some snorkeling from shore, but most of the decent
diving will be a boat ride.

Yeah, she's running most days if there's any action. Monday may
be iffy, but you'll have no problem getting out on Friday.

If you can't get on with her, try Craig Smart at the Starfish in
Lantana (goes out the same inlet but from a marina a few miles
north) 561-212-2954, or Richard Glover, who runs a six-pack out
of the same marina as Lynn. It's not the easiest boat to get on
out of the water, But Richard's a first class guy and will take
you wherever you want to go and let you dive the way you want to
dive. 561-252-3929

Hi Mike et. al.

Plans are firming up a little. I might get out on Monday but probably won't
know until that morning. I am pretty sure that I'll be going out on Friday
3/5 if early enough (flying out of WPB 12:30 on Saturday). A morning trip on
Friday would be do-able but I wouldn't want to dive in the afternoon with
the flight home. If anyone is going out on Friday, let me know. I'll be in
various places but will check my mail at my home address (you can figure it
out) and an extra address "dgintz...AT...yahoo...dot...com" (you'll figure
this out too!)

I'm also hoping to snorkel and/or dive with Jim Wyatt earlier in the week.
If that doesn't work out, I could use advice on who to go with in the Key
West area. Since I might not be able to read newsgroups on the road, if
you've got great insights for me, I'd appreciate them by email.
