If you contacted your local dive shop, they might be able to help you
locate that info in your area. Most dive shop owners are very helpful.

for books, try www.bookfinders.com

For the "learned" publications, you'll probably have to check the
library, for starters.  At least you can find contact information for
the pubs.

gosh, I knew how to do this kind of research long before I started on
my Masters work.

If he really wanted an interesting thesis, he should do it on the psychology
of newsgroup participants. :^)

You mean psychopathology.

The norm is whatever is done by the majority of the sample.  Therefor,
most of us are normal, at least in the NG.  Most of us are not quite
that in "the world".

As long as "the world" doesn't know about our ng habit, it doesn't count.
Kinda like eating donuts when no is looking doesn't cause weight gain.

Huh?  Are you new or what?

Try this...
go to:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi
to obtain an abstract for each relevant publication.

Then, make sure its something you want.  For example, the publication
you've listed by Morgan, 'Anxiety and panic in recreational scuba divers.' is only
a review and is without substantive conclusion.  Semi useful at best.  Next, if it
does look like something useful to you, go to your campus library with your list.
They will get you ALL of the publications you've requested save one.  Consider
that two of the publications on your list you could get at Chapters or amazon
etc.  Two others are for sale at DAN.  The NOAA Diving manual is useless IMHO to
you and would suggest removing it from your list.  Consider however that all of
the latter are free and readily available from your local library.

Further, ask your librarian to get you these while he/she's at it.  You
may find them most relevant.

cases of decompression sickness treated in Italian hyperbaric centers

moderate disorders. Prentice-Hall Inc, Englewood Cliffs,NJ. Chapter 21.

Good luck, happy hunting and safe diving.
