seb_1973@lycos.nl - 08 Feb 2005 00:39 GMT Hola Scubadivers,
this message is for all DM assistant instruc. Instructors and so on, from every diveorganization like PADI, NAUI; IDD CMAS, BARRACUDA, ACUC, PDIC, etc and everbody who really wants to become one.
I see that there are a lot people who want to work as a divemaster etc, but is looking for the right employer and v.v.
I'm working on a service to get everybody what they want. Therefore I want to ask everybody to send me an e-mail so I can ask you some questions. Employee (to be) or employer, both are welcome. Also reactions from DM and up about their best or worst employer(s) I saw some pretty good examples from St. Thomas.
This is not a commercial nor a commercial company. I am an Instructor in Mexico trying to set up a new business in getting the right people to the right employers,
Will you help me? Write an email to me and let me ask you no more than 10 questions. If you answer I will keep you posted on my progress.
I believe there is a solution!

So you get an on-topic post, from someone who clearly isn't commercial, and at least 4 people just slag the poster off... The idea probably isn't great - most employers probably have 100's of applicants, but shesh! There are dozens of off topic posts on here about the Gulf, Bush, religion and porn and all sorts of issues caused by/concerning the US (This is rec.scuba, not usa.rec.scuba), so get a life!
I don't want a diving job - but I don't mind someone asking the question!

Anything you'd like to add that's scuba related?
chilly - 09 Feb 2005 00:25 GMT > > > ? Will you help me? > > > [quoted text clipped - 16 lines] > > Anything you'd like to add that's scuba related? Besides, no one slagged him for making a scuba related post and do you really think his website is non-commercial?

I didn't know that Canadians were so uptight!

But oh yeah, it was in response to OP's original statement wherein he contradicted himself. First he said it was non-commercial and then he said:
"I am an Instructor in Mexico trying to set up a new *business* in getting the right people to the right employers,"
> I didn't know that Canadians were so uptight! Of course, they aren't. Where did you ever get such a goofy idea. They go around with bananas on their heads all the time. Does that sound uptight to you? (tight-bassed (sic) maybe, but then, that's another subject)

Survive a year, and we may allow you to carry tanks.
Until then, remain silent.
