I have posted on another newsgroup , without any luck.So here is my
question.
My wife has a colostomy bag, the result of Chrones Disease. We are taking our
dive course here in Calgary and will get the open water cert. in the
Dominican in April. Our question is, are there any other ostomy people out
there or is there anyone who knows of people who scuba dive with an ostomy..

"However, the Koch pouch, which is airtight and requires a catheter to
relieve pressure, is a contraindication to diving."
Is the Koch pouch similar to Speedos? It certainly should be a
contraindication if that's the case.
