hmmm... never heard of them. When diving, you are potentially putting
your life on the line, so it is important that you go with a good
company. Good equipment and knowledge of the local waters can make the
difference between life and death. FOr this reason, I reccomend that
you contact the Better Business Bureao and ask is there have been any
complaints with this company.
just my 2 cents.

Mile Upton's business has a some reputation, though not much media
presence in the last years.
I would give Lawrence a try.

You could ask on UK.Rec.Scuba - I think there was a similar question some
time ago on there.
There are a number of very good dive outfits in Malta, and Maltaqua is
certainly one of them. They are a well established, Maltese owned outfit
they're a good choice for most type of diving - do you have anything
specific in mind?
Personally, I always use Dive Deep Blue (http://www.divedeepblue.com) The
owners, Jon & John are ex-Maltaqua, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend
them.
Or, as Matthias suggested, Strand Diving. I've never used them, but I only
ever heard good things about them from those who have.

I have dived with Maltaqua a couple of times and find them very good.
Very professional and experienced but fun nonetheless. They will give
you as much or as little attention as you require depending on your
skills and abilities.
I will be diving with them in June as well although most of my diving
is independant and I just hire cylinders from them for shore dives. I
rely on them wholly for boat dives.
In fact they are so nice that they offered to organise my wedding in
Malta which is also in June.
Make sure you dive the Blenheim Bomber whilst you are there. See my
website for pictures of the dive and others in Malta.
