Hello all,

Can anyone recommend an English-speaking school in Rio de Janeiro for a
complete beginner? I will be there for a few weeks in late January /
early February and would love to spend a day or two getting started.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

"Diver's Quest" will suit you perfectly in Rio. Check their website at
http://www.diversquest.com.br/maine.html
They're a PADI 5 Star Center.

Do you want to learn, or just get an "experience"?  A class will take
at least four pretty full days.
