INFLATOR BUTTON COMMENTS....

Thanks for those who passed along some ideas on my restriced bc
inflator. Lee, you were right about the problem being in the shrader
under the button and not the shrader in the hose. And to the
individual
from Hawaii that recommended flushing out the shrader under the
inflate
button, that solved the problem. I talked to a tech at a lds that
handles
dacor and he told me this is not uncommon because most people flush
their
bc's and only depress the exhaust button and this does not adequately
flush
the salt from the deflate shrader. He says the deflate button should
be depressed as well to allow fresh water to get around the inflate
shrader.
After rinsing this valve and just gently seating the bc inflates at
the
same rate that it originally inflated. The problem seemed gradual so I
assume the salt and crap was building up slowly and eventually almost
stopped the air flow when trying to inflate.

Cool.  It's nice to be right occasionally.  Glad you got it fixed.
