Have narrowed our next trip down to Thailand or Malaysia.

Have been recommended to go to Khao Lak in Thailand and to stay at the Le
Meridien Resort.

I understand the diving is supposed to be world class here at the Similan
Islands but understand it is whole day trips. My wife doesn't dive but does
snorkel. Any recommendations?

Also contemplating going to Malysia or Borneo and are thinking about either
Datai Bay or Nexus Resort in Karambunai.

Anyone been to any of the above and have any feedback - would be most
appreciated.

Hello Stephen!

I have been in the similan Islands a year ago on a dive safari and it
was absolutely amazing!
I went with SIMILAN DIVERS dive club! great staff , great boat, and
great food!
I havnt been in Malaysia but I have heard great things from my friends
about the country and diving there!

good luck with your choice and have fun!
