Hi!

I need some help too assemble a list of Italian manufacturers of scuba
equipment.

So if you could be so nice to add the links and information you know I would
be gratefully.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards from Norway.

Here are a few manufacturers:

Cressi sub: http://www.cressi-sub.it/
Francis sub: http://www.francis.it/
Tigullio: http://www.tigulliodive.it/

The Italian Diving Equipment Manufacturers' Association (Associazione
Produttori ed Operatori della Subacquea) has its website at
http://www.assosub.org/.

Isn't Mares and ScubaPro Italian?

Indeed, as are Omersub and Technisub, which I hadn't mentioned either.
I only had time to list a few Italian manufacturers when I posted my
message yesterday. Since then I've found a list of diving equipment
companies posted by the Italian diving magazine "Mondo Sommerso" at:

http://www.mondosommerso-online.it/attrezzature/aziende.htm

Be aware, though, that not all these firms manufacture diving
equipment. Some will simply distribute the products of other companies.
In the global marketplace of nowadays, where there are worldwide
branches and mergers, it's becoming increasingly difficult to tie a
company to a particular country.

Mares used to do a lot of their equipment in Estonia, but I believe they
have now moved the production to factories in other Central and Eastern
European countries.
