> Perhaps because I don't know what the Bayou Classic is?
Ahh, it's a football game between Gramblind and Southern U - does that
give you a better picture of the crowd? all of the Zydeco places were
playing hip-hop.
> Oh? How so? I thought it was, "Drink, fall down, be swept up by the street
> cleanup crews"... Have they changed it?
no, but they weren't playing the bead game. I didn't see a single breast
all weekend. All they seemed to do was walk around and drink beer while
yakking on cell phones.
> Never been there... I hear they have Komodo Dragons... What is the recipe
> for them?
didn't see a recipe for those; recipes were by the swamp sections and
where the rabbits and ducks are. The Komodo Dragons looked a bit tough,
but I'll bet yhey're fine if you cook 'em right. They said something
about "endangered".
> Did you find your turducken?
K-Paul had it on Wednesday night, but we got in really late. It was
nowhere to be found for the rest of the weekend, but we were not
deprived of outrageously good food all weekend. I don't even want to
think about how many oyster Po'boys I ate in between the really fine
restaurants. We did go to K-Paul's one night, and it was excellent.
Blackened red drum by the place that invented it...

That would be "Grambling", not "Gramblind"... Although I hear that the
rap-crap music does do that to you...

I hate the rap-crap... I want to take a 12-gauge to every punk's subwoofer
that drives down the street playing that crap... It's definitely NOT
music...
I didn't get back until late Saturday morning... Still cleaning up from the
"near miss" of the tornado that wiped out quite a few houses in the
subdivision to the north of my house... I'm going to have plenty of firewood
for quite a few years now... Unfortunately, it cost me a live oak that was
probably over a hundred years old... And a pear tree, but that doesn't
really count...

That's rich! Even Google's really rough translation gave me enough to
appreciate the humor with which this was written........
