Impressive!
Nice Touch and Go.
Nice landing.
For something that looks as un-aerodynamic as it is, it certainly
handles well.

Being an admirer of the ingenuity of man, and fascinated by some of the
madness that accompanies pursuits like model aircraft, and being a
machinist, I have been sucked into many a project with friends who were RC
nutcases.

Here are a few beautiful examples of how far off the deep end you can go:

Unbelievable.

I thought the Virginia Trooper with the actual scale model of a VSP
helicopter was extreme.

The detail can be just amazing.

Heli's are my favorite.

You'd sure have the pucker factor keeping you in your seat...

BTW, I couldn't find the image of the VSP chopper...

For really long URLs, try putting them in <brackets>. Most newsreaders
and e-mail clients recognize anything in brackets as a URL and won't
break them across lines. Like this:

&page=1&offset=1&result_url=redir%3Fsrc%3Dwebsearch%26requestId%3D61d3a0

Thanks for the tip.

Now....if I can remember to do it.

didn't work for me. it failed to keep the URL as a URL.

I strongly urge everyone reading this to check out WWW.anysoldier.us,

It didn't work for me either. Generally, enclosing a string in brackets
tells the client it's a URL, but I suspect there's a maximum length for
the string. If there is, then 255 characters would be a reasonable
guess and this address is 393 characters long. Enclosing in brackets
has always worked for me in the past, but this was an exceptionally
long address.

Do both so that it is possible for someone to see where you are referring
before they actually click on the link -- some aren't even worth the effort
to click on the URL, so seeing it beforehand is might just save a click...
Another issue is that makeshorterlink does not keep the links around
forever, so if someone is reading the posting in the archives, they wouldn't
know the actual URL that was being referred to...

I've found that regular square brackets "[" and "]" sometimes work... I'll
try it with the previous link to see if it will make a difference...

I'll have to do some digging, but I have a suspicion that 255
characters might be the limit.

Use www.tinyurl.com - that service *does* keep the links around "forever".
