generally DRY???

I would suppose - unless it is rainy.

I have no idea how it is.  I don't know how much damage they got from
the hurricanes.

underwater on the deep side is fine.  Water has been clear for weeks.
We were there a week after Jeanne (and twice since) and the water was
clear.   The storm surge hit the north side hard but most of the
Freeport hotels are fine.

Have fun
