The current was pretty strong and headed off-island to the NW.  Fortunately,
we did not make it all the way to Kaua'i.

Yeah, I enjoyed my time in Coz.  I was a much younger diver then.  While I
still enjoy drift diving, I guess I've developed a much different outlook on
it here; where the next major land mass is Xks of miles away...

The current was pretty strong yesterday which only added to the task loading
of learning to use a new camera.  The real problem, though, was the "tech
divers from Texas."  They were "just a few dives short of their tri-mix
cert."  They came fully equipped, including ankle weights.  The ankle
weights were particularly beneficial in keeping their feet firmly planted on
the coral.  But it wasn't their fault, they were "used to diving with four
tanks not one."  I can't remember the last time I've been forced to surface
with over a half tank of air left.

But I'm not bitter...
