Agreed. The good news is that life is slowly starting to return to
"closer to" normal. The Cayman Islands Immigration Department has
announced that children named as dependants on work permits and
government contracts, and non-nationals owning property in the Cayman
Islands are now permitted to return (evidence of ownership is required).
For tourism, while the prohibition on general entry continues to apply
to Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are technically open for
business (check with the individual hotels/etc).
The catch will be getting there: I believe that only Cayman Airways has
(limited) flights to the USA, as the US Carriers have yet to resume
flights, and are reportedly updating (eg, deferring) their schedules in
two week blocks. IMO, they're probably waiting for Grand Cayman to
reopen before really making any commitment on services, so as to
minimize their financial losses of flying non-full flights.

Unbelieveable
Thank you for posting these pictures. Stuff like this is always better than
the media's version of it.
