CKVR News reported a death on the Waome, Sun. Sept. 26.
They said 47 yr. old Ann Kim Davies of Willow Beach failed to return
from a dive on the 70 ft. deep wreck. A team went back down and found
her. News later reported she had "run out of oxygen," and couldn't
find her buddy due to bad visibility.
Does anyone know any more about the situation?
Willow Beach is just down the road from me but I or my buddies don't
know her.

I can't offer any further information about this tragedy, but I can say that
the Waome is in very dark water in Lake Muskoka.  I recall it being like a
night dive, despite its relatively "shallow" depth, even at 12 noon on a
bright sunny day.
