I am with a company that developed a low-voltage bulb that simulates the true
spectrum of "daylight" more accurately than previous attempts (see
www.solux.net to learn more about that aspect).   We recently worked with a
Swiss based company to develop a dive light around this bulb.

I am not very familiar with the diving market niche so I would like to know
which "diving" or "scuba" magazine would be best to have this product reviewed.

Thanks for your help.

Any of the popular "diving" or "scuba" magazines will give you a "glowing"
review provided you take out an expensive full-color ad.

Considering the prices shown ($700+) for the product on it's website, I
would suggest aiming at the technical dive market, the would be
publications like Advanced Diver, Immersion, NACD Journal... Though it
is true that recration journals like Rodeles and Sport Driver will give
it a better write if you buy advertisement space.

Best bet is to get some working models in the hands of divers who can
show it off in the real world. I'll be happy to lead the effort in the
Florida cavers and OW market. Write me off list for an address to send
my free demo unit.

Clever SPAM. Mossman missed it.
I really appreciate this kind of thoughtfulness.

If you really did go to all the trouble of developing a dive light
without being "very familiar with the diving market niche", then you
must be a bigger idiot than those who believed it. I doubt that.

You get an "A+" for ingenuity. However, I'd never consider using a dive light
that was designed without being "very familiar with the diving market niche".
It's gotta be crap.

safe diving,
