I have a Dacor Falcon BCD.  I cannot get the last amount of water out of it
after diving.  The traditional method of blowing it up, holding it upside
down and opening the release valve at the end of the tube always leaves
some water in the BCD.  Any pointers would be appreciated.

Store it inflated and make sure the last little bit of water is fresh
not salt... Water won't eat away a BC.

Sharp pocket knife?  Ohhh... You wanted it to hold air *afterwards*?
Uhhhh... Never mind...

If you believe that you absolutely *must* get all the water out of it, there
is a way that would probably work... You'll need to basically evaporate all
the air out of it... One way to do that would be to hook the inflator up to
a dry air source (normal workshop air compressor would probably even work)
and let it continuously pump air into the unit while the lower dump valves
are left open... If enough air flows through there, it would get dry...
Personally, I don't worry about it as long as the little bit of water that
might be left in there is clean fresh water...
