Hey All,

I'm looking to get certified in San Clemente, CA. I have 7 other
co-workers that want to get certified also, but some of them are
telling me there are sometimes 2 for 1 specials at dive shops around
town.

Anyone privy to that kind of discount in the area, and would you do a
2 for 1 deal? Most instruction should be about 40 hours, and around
here costs nearly $300.

Thanks -

Scott

Oh, good, a genius.

We're so glad you're going to be joining our little group.

We need more people who want to learn how to scuba on the f.cking
budget plan.

Then you can all go down to the bargain basement, and pick up a reg or
two. After that, you can swing by the factory rejects outlet, and score
some nice, cheap parachutes.

Is everyone in your little tribe as bright as you are?

We need more leaders here, and raw brain horsepower is the main
requirement, with stone cold common sense running a close second.

Welcome, genius!

True. There's too many folks in this sport that think more money is more
macho.

First find a competant instructor.

Get your group to a firm commitment, then ask for a rate for the entire
group. You should get a deal, though not 2:1.
