So who here is going to see this film?  I've read good reviews and bad
reviews.  I did see a review on MSN cable channel, the guy liked it, but
said the two main actors play yuppies.  Now, since I'm not a fan of yuppies,
I hope those sharks have a buffet on the guy and girl in the water.  lol.

We're too busy to see movies about divers because we're out diving.  Unlike
you, those two were also divers.  How would you like it if someone wished an
embolism on you your first time in the pool since we're not fans of newbies?
lol.

Are you related to Jack Farmer? haha.

Kimber & I saw it tonight.

 It was okay.

Lotta familiar (cattle boat type) scenes, not a lot of drama.

Especially since everybody already knows the ending.

The agencies don't like it.  Go figure.

It's my opinion that if the Aussie dive ops are going to charge Americans
more than Australians that they had better lose some Australians quickly so
they don't look like they're completely discriminating against we true
red-white-and-bluers.

Boycott Australia!

Hah - of course they don't like it -- it doesn't show diving in a positive
light - especially with the part where they are floating out there in the
middle of the ocean and the girl says "how can this happen" and the guy
replies "Well you would be surprised, I read in Dive Training magazine that
stuff like this happens all the time" and she exclaims "Well, you could have
told me about this BEFORE we got certified!!!!!" -- God I was laughing my
a.s off at that!

We were going down the escalator and I was saying to Popeye how I was glad
the kids didn't see the movie or they wouldn't want us to go diving again
and the couple behind us was saying that they weren't ever going to even go
snorkeling.  Hah - so yeah they agencies aren't going to like this movie.
Suddenly the number of new divers certifies takes a nose dive for the next
year!

Everything works out in the end. If it hasn't worked out, it's not the end.

We saw it tonight --

You could tell it was done on a very low budget.  I don't feel like they
developed the characters well enough.  Towards the end there was a lot
missing.  Since this was a dramatic interpretation - there needed to be more
drama.  You kinda walked out - going - hrmmmm -- ok, whatever.  I really did
not walk out feeling sorry for the people.  Had the movie been more dramatic
and done better I think I would have felt that way - but overall - I just
didn't have any emotion for them.  I thought it was worth seeing once, but
not a movie I would buy on DVD.
