About two divers left behind by their dive boat...

http://www.openwatermovie.com/

coming August 20.

Looks pretty tedious...

Every diver's nightmare -- to be left behind by the boat.  But don't you
hate it when someone makes a movie designed to keep people out of the water?
I suppose they couldn't sell tickets if they didn't sensationalize it
Hollywood style.

Where did the actual event the movie is about take place. I heard the
Galapagos. What was the outcome?

Discovery made a lot of money preying on people's irrational fears?

In the movie there's a happy Hollywood ending:  the couple survives after
discovering floating FedEx care packages leftover from Castaway.

Had the couple only been diving DIR (i.e. in a large team) they never would
have been lost in the first place.  There's your moral.

And don't ascribe a quote to someone who didn't write it.
