Once again, I'd like to say a big 'good job bro' to our bud Curtis. I just
caught a part of the competition from a coupla weeks ago on ESPN today.
Looks like Curtis finished the competition with a broken finger (?) or worse
on his right hand and still going through the final rounds breaking concrete
blocks with his left. Congratulations on the great finish big guy!
Dave.

Wish I'd had time, I flipped thru the channel and saw what was
on....wondered if I'd see Curtis. Not sure I saw all of his breaks, just
caught the one. Caught him and his instructor. They both did well.

Thanks. :-)
That must have been film from the '00 competition. I'm in the '00, '01
and '02 films.
The right hand splint was to prevent me from bending that finger and
ripping stitches out of the knuckle, a work injury from a few days earlier.
Left hand usage was planned before the injury, so I wouldn't injure my right
hand for work. :-)
The '04 will not be out for a few weeks, doubtful I'll be shown, not a
high enough placement.

BFD. Try getting an entire arm ripped off.
But I would like to see you in action, if only to prove to my friends that
my arm wasn't ripped off by a 98 lb weakling. Ya got any footage you could
send me? I did a search on ESPN after Dave's post and I can only assume he
was hallucinating.
