Small Deep Pool Convertable to Swim Spa

As a scuba person with a small back yard, I've decided to install a
14'X12' ft pool and, since I'm in Ohio, I Purchased a 18X14 Pro series
( Heavy Aluminum construction) Greenhouse that I will erect over it .

I'm an Expert with Fiberglass and Composites and decided ( after being
unable to find a small pool deeper than 4 ft) that I will make the
Pool shell myself. I I have also installed an inground pool before.

For my pool, I want it to be 8 or, even better, 10 feet deep to play
with scuba gear and, a Back-up place to give private lessons.

My goal is to have an 8X10 'floor' in the deep end, two 'hot-tub'
style seats at the shallow end with a seperation between the seats for
an endless current generator in case I want to make it into a swim spa
down the road. (the current generators are available off the shelf
from several sources). and small steps in the corner of the shallow
end.

Now the question is, Do I want to make just one using Moldless
construction over a frame, or do I want to go ahead and make the Mold
so I can produce as many as I want.

Are there other divers that would be interested in just such a pool? I
Estimate the cost of the final shell ready to set  without any
excavation costs or hardware (Filter plumbing ,skimmer, ect.) to be in
the $4500 range. My e-mail above works If  theres enough interest, I
will make the Mold ( I have the shop space) If not, It's just one!

RThanks

Umm... sure.  I'll drive right out there, throw one on my Toyota, and
drive it back.

Oh wait... my back yard is only 15x15 and I already have a 4x6 spa
back there.

Damn.

Never mind.

Is it shippable via UPS? <snicker>

If I was creating a 'pool' for diving, I would be more inclined to use some
of the large concrete culvert / aqueduct sections that are made
commercially... Stand one end and keep excavating around the edges and on
the inside of it until it slides down... Once it has slid down to the point
where it was flush with the ground, buy another one and put on top of it and
continue with the excavating from the inside... Once you get it down to 200
ft, you can stop... Put some rebar in the bottom, pour some concrete, and
after it all dries, start plastering the sides... To make it a little more
interesting, you could create tunnels at various depths looping back to the
central vertical shaft... Maybe even make your own underground 3-dimensional
maze...

Or you could just go to the local lake / quarry / spring...

Just buy a surplus missle silo.

That, my friend, would be the easy way out.  And nobody in rec.scuba
does things the easy way.  Remeber the thread about shore diving
wrecks in Fla?  :-)
