Divers,
For those instructors who strongly object to free standing tanks on the
dive site, I recently had an opportunity to document a laying tank
rolling off the dock and into the water. Result was the squishing to
death of numurous innocent marine invertebrates. Samples of squished
echinoderms available by mail (within the US only). Your Scuba Cylinder
Can Be An Anchor.

So.....scuba tanks can be hazardous to the health of the universe.

Free standing tanks that fall over will, of course, be prevented from
rolling overboard by some poor soul's foot. ;^)

That's nothing.
I once stopped a 12" long piece of 9" diameter 4140 hot rolled steel (about
220 pounds, if memory serves) from breaking the floor with my big toe.
Pissed me off so bad I loaded it into the lathe chuck with no winch, and
pulled a couple muscles in my back, that got me a week off work.
