WebTV

The equal opportunity crackpot portal.

But hey, just to put this back on topic:

If AOL is to Internet access what PADI is to diving,
What certifying organization correlates to WebTV??

L. Ron Hubbard?

As good an answer as any, as I can't think of any diving organization
as bad as WebTV.

However, if there were one I suspect it might be called, "The Chris
Wolf Institute for Advanced SNUBA Studies (yes Chris, it's a really
cheap shot. You've earned it).

Courage doesn't always roar.  Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of
the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.

On the one hand, that would be bad.

On the other hand, I'd love to see an argument on the merits of
scientology between Farmer and Chris Wolf.

Well I like Jack really - despite what others think of him.  He really is a
nice guy with a great wife.

Entertainment would abound!

I never did give anybody hell.  I just told the truth and they thought it
was hell.

On the gripping hand, lets go dive instead.

Or shoot. Or vote.

Is the mote really that obvious?

I suppose it is.

I agree, it's time to go diving :-)

Diving?  I guess you'll have to read my Galapagos trip report.  And now back
to the cold water.  Has Anneke started her summer job yet?

It all depends on which definition of a days you take. God created the
universe in 7 days (God's days) according to the bible, and we know the
universe to be about 30 billions years old (our days). So, if there's
two weeks left for the "rapture", that would make it to about 60
billions of our years away (simple logic calculation). Lot's of bubble
making, shipwreck exploring time left  :)

Lots of tme through the last 1000 years. The first time, IIRC was 1000 AD.
The Rapture was supposed to be the Y1K problem.

What I lioked was the cult that predicted that the world would end on a
particular day, the faithful gathered in their bunkers, and prayed to God to
spare the world.

That way, if the world does end, they're right, and if it doesn't, its
because God answered their prayers and was merciful.
