No, I don't consider it spam. I also didn't consider my note on the
scubadoc site spam.

I don't think recommending a site with good scuba content, even if it is
advertiser supported (which scubadoc is not, btw), is spam.

I do think there's a big difference between a post selling O-rings and a
post directing you to an O-ring distributor's site where you can get
detailed data about O-rings in general.
