Hello all
I'm looking to buy my first dive kit, and I've come across a
package with a  Sherwood Magnum first and second stage. I can't seem
to find any reviews online. Does anybody own one, or have personal
experiences with one? Any info would be great. Thanks

The Magnum is a good regulator. I've owned several over the years.

As a beginner, you should stick with .22 LR.

Had one, sold it. Fine regulator for most people needs. Easy-peasy
simple if you're into doing your own maintenance.

Sherwoods seem to be the staple of the rental stock here in NY. I still
use my Sherwood Maximus after over 10 years. They are dependable simple
regs. Decent breathers at depth (I have taken this one down to 200') and
work fine.
