Yet another movie to skip.  In about two years, there won't be any
movies worth renting.  Because this year, it doesn't seem that there
are any movies worth seeing.

When I was a kid, I thought the angel's name was Hark
and the horse's name was Bob.

Van Helsing was quite good.

Just finished watching "Bend it Like Becker."  That was worth watching.  No
sex, car chases, or pistol whippings though.   ;^)

Bend it Like Becham".  And yes, I've heard it's pretty good.  There
are others.  But I still like watching "Gosford Park" and "Crouching
Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (in Chinese, Mandarin, I believe).

Sorry.  I have no idea who this "Becham" is, other than a soccer player.  I
grew up playing baseball.  My kids play soccer.  Otherwise, I have nothing
to do with such mass media sports anymore.  When I finally get some free
time, I certainly am not going to waste it watching other people have fun.

That aside, "Bend It Like Becham" was alright in spite of the lack of
violence.   ;^)

The lack of gratiutious nudity is appaling.

That's the one; "Bend It Like Beckham" is about some girls who want to play
soccer like the famous David Beckham.
Awful film though!
