Dive shops in Nice, France - any recommendations? Good dives?

My daughter and I are hoping to squeeze in some diving during a trip to
Mougins in July. Does anyone have a recommendation for a dive shop or any
good dive sites in the Nice vicinity?

You could post your question (even in English) to the French SCUBA NG
fr.rec.plongee and the British SCUBA NG uk.rec.scuba

Hello,

You have several commercial structures around the port of Nice. They all go to
the same places : Villefranche Bay, St Jean Cap Ferrat. You have many dive sites
around nice. If you have the required level, you may do some quite deep dives
(between 100 and 200 ft depth) as the coasts near nice are quickly deep.

I am in an association of recreational divers near the port of Nice on Franck
Pilatte blvd (local phone 0493 892 333 for infos and reservations) called
"Plongee Aigle Nautique". This structure is opened to people who are not member
of the association and has the lowest prices of Nice. Expect to pay 25 euros for
a dive.

During summer, they are opened every day except on sunday and go diving twice a
day.

You may also try some shore dives but there is only one site with easy access to
the sea called "Grotte du Lido". Everyone knows it in Nice.
