Little research done on SCUBA divers and their preferences for various
management alternatives for protecting underwater resources like
corals. As a result, managers often take action on their own and
without input from the diving community.

We are seeking divers interested in participating in a study on your
particular preferences for coral reef conservation and management.
This study is being conducted by Texas A&M University's Department of
Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences.  For more information on this project
you can view our informational sheet at:
http://lutra.tamu.edu/hdlab/statprefflyer.htm

If you are interested in participating, please send your snail mail
address in an email to michael.sorice@tamu.edu.  This research is
being conducted by Texas A&M University so any information you provide
is strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of this
project.

All study participants will receive an executive summary of the
results and access to the web-based final report.

Thank you,
Mike
