Business doing so poorly you have to spam for customers? If everyone in the
business of selling dive trips posted their spam, we'd have nothing but spam
here.

Now, now. Ken's not an ass-raper, as far as I know. He's just a
garden-variety spammer trying to drum up business for his overpriced
crappy dive trips. If you have evidence of ass-raping, please post
it. MHK wants to see the pictures.

That was the funniest thing seeing when we saw him lying on that table next
to it... the little dude standing to the side was looking really nervous
when he saw me taking those pictures you told me to get ... guess he didn't
want somebody to know just what he was up to.

You seem to use posters you don't agree with as a trampoline. can you do a
triple flip and rotate while in the air using a poster that pisses you off?
you seem to have enough practise jumping on people to enter the olympics.

I use posters anyway I see fit. There are a handful who post here that I
respect--a handful I like and a few here I would fight through hell with a
toothpick for and dare I say a few I would fight to my death for. That
said there are a few here I would not hesitate to shoot in cold blood or
choke the life out of with my bare hands.
Oh--and there is one here whom I worship.
And another with whom I am madly, deeply in love with who I call my wife.

Of course he didn't answer because it doesn't fulfill his mission of
spam. You are a hypocrite Bob. How do you not view a "trip report"
post from someone in the business of selling dive trips as spam?

Favortism.

because the newsgroup decided several years ago that trip reports and
weather reports by operator attaching their sig files with urls were no
longer spam. I argued, I lost. ( the jim wyatt rule)
Now ken is legal as long as he adds weather or dive report.
sit down and behave yourself.

Funny. Jim Wyatt stopped his weather reports. So much for the Jim Wyatt
rule.
Now if we can only convince Ken to stop his spam and with MHK gone the
newsgroup will become a much more non-commercial place. If I want
commercials, I can watch TV.

I am behaving myself. Have I ever behaved like anyone else?

Sometimes you act like me.
Have you seen my brother from another mother out there?
Tell him to call home if you do.

you usually behave like yourself here, which is not behaving.

Then the newsgroup will have to vote me off. Isn't that allowed according
to your "logic"?
My "logic" is that the newsgroup rules are not subject to change by the whim
of a few "voters". Spam is spam and no vote changes that fact.

As much as I'm against what would appear to be spam, I think you two need to
step back . . .

And plummet off the cliff that's just behind me? Yeah, right, like I'll
fall for that one. Were you giving advice to that poor Canuck who went over
Niagara the other day?

LOL I haven't commented on the trip thus far. I was going to write up
a trip report but... :) Hey, your report says it all and y'all know
that I hate to write trip reports. Just following your links tells me
all I need to know. :)
At any rate, I'll add a few things. I was most impressed with Captain
Don Jose and his choice to move us where he thought we needed to be.
We were surrounded by 2 hurricanes. How many times are you faced with
2 hurricanes while you're on a liveaboard ?? He was dancing on the
seas. He knew it. He moved us to be safe. And he also moved us to get
some good diving in. You can't say a bad word about a Captain who does
that. I know he was worried at one point. I saw the look in his eyes
when he was watching the waves break over the rocks at one of our dive
sites. I know that he plotted out every move after that. And I know
that if he thought we couldn't make those seas, he'd had brought us
right back in. He is a good Captain...one of the best I've seen in my
humble experience.
The other thing that you didn't mention is that the boat itself is
pretty dang stable. We were in some rocking waters but the boat was
secure. There wasn't any way-ward sides motion or cressing of waves.
The boat was very sea-worthy.
Ok... that having been said, I'm still trying to talk my hub and my
friends into diving with y'all next year. They say... "We aren't doing
a Blackbeards on the Sea of Cortez." :PP They are spoiled brats.
They dont' know what they're missing Ken. I love diving that area with
you and I've not been dissappointed with what creatures we have seen.
Damn... the 200 cow rays that you and I saw under the boat was worth
the whole week this year !! Kevin found 2 frog fish. How lucky is
that ??!! The multitude of sea life we encounter on each dive there.
Yes. I love your store trip. It's planned to the inth. I show up and
that's all I need to do. Your shop (you) takes care of everything !!
This year was my second Sea of Cortez trip with you on the Don Jose. I
will be back next year, if you'll have me. Your trip is planned to
satisify the serious diver. 24 or 26 dives in one week... I'm there.
