Has anyone tried the Suunto Interface being sold on Ebay?  It's not
made by Suunto, but the guy sure sels alot of them?  Has anyone
attempted to make their own interface?  I'd like to eventually upload
my Vyper, but the original interface is pricey.

Thanks,
Larry

Made my own interface, probably cost about ?3ukp for parts and the software
is free from Suunto site.  There are several designs on the web.

Me too. The only problem is work only with my notebook and only if there is
Win 98 installed. Win XP or 2k doesnt work.
Cost is less than 2,5 US$ and it takes about 2 hours if you're
inexperienced.

Very odd, mine is working here on Win XP, also works on 2000 laptop and
Win2k3 test server.  It should work with pretty much any configuration with
a working serial port.

Mine is from Jamie at Athens Home Products.  It works fine under XP.

Make sure you don't have Hotsync or anything else loaded that occupies
or monitors the comm port.
